Miss Jessie Products
Miss Jessie's hair products make it easy to care for curly hair. They offer a whole line of shampoos, conditioners, moisturizers and styling products.
Why do I love Miss Jessie's? Because I'm lazy. I'm a wash-and-go/shake-and-go kind of girl. I don't want to twist my hair up and night and take it down every morning, and I don't have the patience to do a bunch of styling every day just to have fresh curls. Miss Jessie's was made for people like me, who value manageability and versatility.
If you're fed up with dry curls or with not being able to style your curls the way you want, read on and find out which Miss Jessie's product can help with your hair.
Naturally Curly Hair Care
Miss Jessie Shampoo Review
Miss Jessie Creme de la Curl Cleansing Creme is sulfate free. Sulfates are what make regular shampoo lather up, but they also strip the natural oils from your hair. So be aware that this is a hair cleansing "cream" and not a "shampoo," so it won't lather or suds up, which takes some getting used to. It has wheat protein which is excellent for strengthening curly hair while adding moisture.
I am not a fan of the strong floral scent (but I don't like floral scents period). I find that it leaves my hair less than soft -- until I follow up with the Creme de la Creme, that is.

Miss Jessie Creme de la Creme Conditioner Review
Miss Jessie's Creme de la Creme Conditioning Creme leaves the hair soft and silky. It contains wheat
proteins, which are good, but it does have "cones" (dimethicone) which coat the hair. "Cones" are the ingredients that most
hair products use to make the hair shiny. But coating the hair also
makes it difficult for the good ingredients to penetrate, so some
people try to avoid them. If you don't mind "cones" (your current
conditioner probably has them anyway), then try Creme de la Creme for
soft, manageable curls.

Miss Jessie's Stretch Silkening Creme Review
Miss Jessie's Stretch Silkening Creme is a light curl cream used on wet hair to elongate the curl and add definition. It offers medium hold and shrinkage reduction. This product is not a chemical texturizer or relaxer like the silkener treatment, which is only done at the salon.
Of all the Miss Jessie's products I've tried, this is the one I like the least. Miss Jessie’s Stretch Silkening Creme makes the hair really soft, but TOO soft for my taste. It actually adds fluff and frizz to my hair as it dries, and muddles up my curl definition. I would recommend this product only for twist-outs, braid-outs or coiling, not for loose styling. It also leaves a film on the hair, which I don't like. Also, I wish they would tone down the scent -- this stuff smells like strong old-lady perfume to me.
